The StoryLab@Texas A&M
The StoryLab conducts research in the area of human-computer interaction (HCI) with a focus on the design and evaluation of technologies that draw inspiration from narrative theories.
We have two emphasis areas:
- Child-Computer Interaction
This emphasis area addresses technologies to support children's cognitive, emotional and social development. Projects in this emphasis area include Lived Science Narratives, Making the Maker, Culturally-Relevant Teaching, Grounded Social Media for Learning, and Enactment-based Storytelling.
- Technologies for Aging Populations
This emphasis area addresses technologies to support the emotional well-being of older adults. Projects in this emphasis area include Positive Aging.
